The 5-star Südsee campsite has received numerous awards and achieved excellent results in independent surveys. The campsite was awarded the "Impulse Niedersachsen" prize for innovation for its collaboration with the neighbouring Börner riding school in 2002. The collaboration opens up a completely new opportunity for campers who want to get a sniff of stable life or for horse-lovers who also love camping. And the Südsee campsite is the only ADAC category 1 campsite in Germany which offers professional riding facilities.
