The more simple and inexpensive version of the traditional golf game wins more and more adherents and there are over 30 installations throughout Germany by now, a substantial part thereof, in Lower Saxony.
The sport got its name from the French word "le swin (g)" - the swing -. The aim of the game is to get the ball, using a universal racket, with as few strokes as possible from the tee on a golf course (50 up to a maximum of 300 meters) in a hole. Golfers enjoy it as well as non-golfers.
Start right away:
no long practice, no expensive club membership, no handicap necessary, with only a bat. Simple casual clothing is sufficient. Cheap and simple: this is SwinGolf!
Even in an area of 5 hectares, an environmentally friendly SwinGolf system can be installed without much effort. An attractive leisure facility can be created in conjunction with a small restaurant or a farm shop. Therefore, this new sport is a real economic prospect for many farmers, municipalities and landowners.
SwinGolf is similar to traditional golf, but it stands out by a number of characteristics:
• can be played immediately without long and difficult learning process
• to play only with a universal bat instead of a whole set
• the balls are larger, softer (therefore safer) and floatable
• the playing time for a round is shorter (about 1 to 2 hours for 9 holes)
• the prices are cheaper
