Lakes aplenty! - The 3-lakes-route - a cycling tour for enthusiasts
Cyclists can experience three popular lakes in Northern Germany in one go on a tour through the Oldenburger Münsterland in the city triangle of Bremen-Oldenburg-Osnabrück. The 219 km long course connects Lake Dümmer, the Thülsfelder dam and the Zwischenahner Sea. Moor, coastal sandy heathland, forest and lake landscapes and the encounter with the countryside way of living in villages and museums and the regional cuisine explain the fascination with this tour. You can also do the popular “Boxenstopp-route”, which invites you to visit 120 stations where you can stop off, shop and actively experience the countryside.
“Whatever you want!” is the motto of the tourism specialists here. They will be delighted to organise your very own personal “3-lakes- route.” You determine the length of the daily stages and the choice of accommodation offers from hotels down to youth hostels yourself. Would you prefer to cycle less kilometres, but not miss out on seeing any of the lakes? That is also possible – simply get in contact with the team on location.
